This Privacy Policy explains how Bryan Bigham Physical Therapy, LLC, doing business as Bigham Mobility (“we,” “us,” or “the practice”), handles information collected through bighammobility.com and through inquiries made by phone, email, or this website. Bigham Mobility is a physical therapy practice owned and operated by Stephen Bryan Bigham, PT, DPT, MHA, a physical therapist licensed by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners, providing in-home outpatient physical therapy and telehealth to patients in Texas.
Two kinds of information, two different rules
Information you submit through this website (your name, phone number, email address, and whatever you type into a contact form) is website information, and this Privacy Policy governs it.
Once you become a patient, information created or received in the course of your care is protected health information (PHI) and is governed by the federal HIPAA Privacy Rule and by our Notice of Privacy Practices, not by this policy. Please do not include detailed medical information in a website form or in an unencrypted email. Email and web forms are not secure. Tell us generally what is going on and we will take the clinical details by phone or at your visit.
What we collect
- Information you give us: name, phone number, email address, general reason for contacting us, city or service area, and anything else you choose to write.
- Information collected automatically: standard web server and analytics data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring site. This is used to keep the site working and to understand which pages people read.
- Cookies: the site uses cookies for basic functionality and, if enabled, website analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
How we use it
To respond to your inquiry, schedule a call or a visit, send information you asked for, keep records required by law, maintain the security of the site, and improve the website. We use it for nothing else.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not send marketing email to people who did not ask for it.
Who else may see it
Only service providers that make the website and our communications work, for example our website host, email provider, form provider, and scheduling or payment processor. They may access information only to perform those services for us. Where those vendors handle PHI, they do so under a HIPAA business associate agreement. We may also disclose information when required by law, by court order, or by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners, or where disclosure is necessary to prevent serious harm.
Texas law also requires reporting of suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation of a child, an elderly person, or a person with a disability. If we are required to make such a report, we will do so.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards, including an SSL certificate on this website and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and your rights
You may ask us to correct or delete the contact information you submitted through this site by emailing bryan@bighammobility.com. You may unsubscribe from any email we send. Requests that concern your medical record are handled under the Notice of Privacy Practices, which gives you the right to inspect, copy, amend, and receive an accounting of disclosures of your PHI.
Texas residents may have additional rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act regarding personal data that is not PHI. To exercise those rights, contact us at the address below. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through this website.

This site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the revised version here with a new effective date.
